March 8th – 10th 2019
If you like the idea of being able to run in the mountains but have never started then this will be the perfect day for you. We are two highly experienced top women fell runners who are passionate about getting more women to enjoy this sport.
You’d like to get out and into some wilder country but feel that you don’t have the map skills or full confidence to stride out. This is a great day where we ‘take the map for a walk’ to start to understand the basics of navigation.
To enjoy your running you need to sustain a resilient, flexible and fit body. Overtraining, over-racing and a resistance to making changes, we often run ourselves to injury. For men and women, this day is about taking a look at ourselves as runners and how we attend to our bodies and minds to support ourselves to injury free running.
If you have a group of friends and you’d like us to organise a day or weekend of adventure for you get in touch and let us take the strain of organisation: from restorative weekends blending activity with supporting the active body, fell or trail running, walking, guided nature walks, map reading, mountain biking are all possible – or any combination! Accommodation and catering arranged to suit your budget.
