Based in the beautiful Black Mountains in a large 15th-century farmhouse with spectacular views into the Beacons National Park, two guided full days of walking in the wild at this wonderful time of year. Good food provided throughout.

The farmhouse sleep a total of 34 people in a variety of rooms most with en-suite bathrooms; the accommodation is deliberately under-booked in order to provide you with ‘personal space’.
No dogs are permitted at the accommodation.
Day 1: 12-mile bluebell walk
Day 2: The river Usk trail walk
Day 1 involves some uphill walking. Day 2 is more of an undulating route along the river Usk.
You will receive an equipment checklist when you book. We want you to be warm and happy on your walk. It’s important that you have clothes which are suitable for our changeable mountain weather and that we do not underestimate how changeable the weather can be: a good waterproof jacket, fleece jacket, hat and gloves, waterproof over-trousers, layers of thin clothing ideally wool or thermal, a rucksack and sturdy shoes or boots with a good sole.
A packed lunch will be provided on both days – please bring any additional snacks.
Location & Arrival:
By car: The borders village of LLanbedr is easily reached and is situated two miles from Crickhowell. The location is 45 minutes from the M4 Severn bridge and is easily reached from Bristol (1 hr) and London (3 hrs).
Abergavenny is the nearest train station to Llanbedr and is 8.5 miles away. We can arrange taxi pick up and return from the Abergavenny train station for you.
Llanbedr is 1.5 hrs from Bristol with its International airport. From Bristol airport public transport brings you to Abergavenny in less than 2 hours.
