Starting from the beautiful Black Mountains village of LLanbedr a great day out with dogs and their owners. Come and walk, talk, laugh and make new friends in spectacular scenery – as well as having a wonderful afternoon tea in a special location three quarters of the way round.
A 12 mile walk
You and your dog should be happy to walk at a moderate pace in the hills for 6-8hrs, which includes breaks. There is uphill walking although the gradient is not protractedly steep. The terrain is not rocky or technical.
You will receive an equipment checklist when you book. We want you to be warm and happy on your walk. It’s important that you have clothes which are suitable for our changeable mountain weather and that we do not underestimate how changeable the weather can be: a good waterproof jacket, fleece jacket, hat and gloves, waterproof over-trousers, layers of thin clothing ideally wool or thermal, a rucksack and sturdy shoes or boots with a good sole.
