Description: This day is about taking a holistic look at ourselves as runners. A combination of indoor and outdoor sessions, the day aims to make you more aware of the importance of balancing and supporting your running.
We start the day with a trail run which is specifically honed for differing running abilities. We then focus on core strength and specific exercises. We also look into mental approach and touch on nutrition. There is a yoga class with an Iyengar yoga teacher who understands runners and we then look at using hills to vary your training and to support your fitness. The day is a combination of indoor and outdoor sessions and the aim of the day is getting you to think more ‘holistically’ about your body.
Specialists in their chosen discipline take each session.
You’ll find a relaxed but focused atmosphere, happy positive challenge and the chance to meet and make new friends. It’s fun, interesting and it should ultimately improve your running.
